Konopiste Castle is a stunning historical attraction in the Czech Republic. The castle is located near the town of Benesov, about 50 km southeast of Prague. It was founded in 1294 as a Gothic fortification inspired by French castles. Konopiste changed hands several times over the centuries, undergoing various renovations and modifications. Some of its notable owners were George of Podebrady, Albrecht von Waldstein, and Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. 

The castle is famous for its extensive collections of art, weapons, and hunting trophies, as well as its beautiful English landscape garden with a rose garden and statues.
